Wednesday Night Bible Studies at Desert Reign will begin new classes starting March 7th and continue on through the month of June. The various classes that will be offered during this time are: His Hour, A Harmony of the Gospels; Altar Workers Training Class; Ministry and Membership Class; Old Testament Overview; The Pastor’s Heart; The Epistle to the Ephesians and Faiths Foundation.

Courageous Men’s BBQ

FREE BBQ and All Men Are Invited!!! Join us for lunch on Saturday April 28 at 12:00 noon. We are all coming together to fellowship and be challenged to rise to the next level as men, husbands and fathers. Come out and here former U.S. Olympian John Azevedo as he shares his testimony and the very significant part God has played in all his success.

Coach John has established himself as one of California’s most accomplished native sons in the sport of wrestling. As a competitor, his record was exemplary. John was California’s inaugural two time high school State Champion from Modesto’s Grace Davis High School. He was a Junior National Freestyle Champion, a three time NCAA Division 2 Champion, a three time NCAA Division 1 Finalist, an undefeated NCAA Division 1 Champion in his senior year, with overall collegiate record of 122-2 at Cal State Bakersfield. A National Open Freestyle Champion, 4th in the World Championships, and a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Freestyle Wrestling team. John has had a Hall of Fame career as an athlete and also as a coach. John coached Calvary Chapel High School to a record 7 California State Championships. He was voted CIF Coach of the year 7 times, National High School Coach of the year, and NCAA Division 1 Coach of the year. Coach John led Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to 2 PAC 10 Conference Runner-up finishes.

We will also be giving away some Courageous items such as; Courageous T-Shirt, Courageous Ball Cap, Books; “The Resolution for Men“, “Courageous Living“, “Courageous Living Bible Study Workbook“, and the Courageous Movie Soundtrack.

Courageous Men’s Ministry – $10.00 Prayer Breakfast

Greetings brothers, please come out and join us on Saturday April 14th at 9:00 am as we pray together for the unleashing of God’s Spirit upon the men of our church and community. We will be gathering at Desert Reign Church in the Living Room to enter into a time of prayer for the upcoming “Courageous Campaign.” What is the “Courageous Campaign”? That’s a great question, come and find out. We normally gather on the second Saturday of each month to have breakfast and fellowship together and our breakfast is usually paid for by a donation from all those in attendance. This month we will be doing something a little different, we are asking for a $10.00 donation from each of the men, if at all possible, and instead of having a physical meal together we will join in on a spiritual meal together. We will fast and pray that morning for the success of our “Courageous Campaign”. The money we collect will be used to purchase the meat for the Men’s Tailgate Style BBQ that will be held on Saturday April 28th. So come on out and support the “Courageous Campaign”.

Oasis Ministry – Breakfast and Bible Study

Oasis Seniors’ Ministry will be having there monthly get together on Saturday April 7th at noon. We will come together for a potluck style lunch and then break open God’s word. So come on out and be fed both physically and spiritually. Everyone is welcome so bring a friend. This is a great way to get to know the people of Desert Reign Church. God bless, see you there!!
