Come and enjoy a ladies night out with us. Heart to Heart Women’s Ministry will be getting together on Thursday February 23 at 7:00 PM for a cup of Coffee or Coco and conversation. We will be meeting at the Cerritos Towne Center Starbucks, once we get our drink we will take a relaxing stroll around the courtyard or just sit around and fellowship together. So make plans to join us for this evening out, and bring a friend to share the fun.

We will be gathering at Desert Reign Church in the Living Room for a meeting to “Share the Vision” for the coming events in our ministry. You won’t want to miss this informative get together. **Important Update**Date Change** The Desert Reign Youth Group or “Uncommon Ground” will be going to Pinecrest Christian Conference Center for their annual Winter Retreat on February 24 – 26, 2012. The cost is $150.00 which includes all meals while at the Conference Center. So come and enjoy a weekend with your friends and the Lord. Contact the church office if you need more information.

Wednesday Night Bible Studies at Desert Reign will begin new classes starting March 7th and continue on through the month of June. The various classes that will be offered during this time are: His Hour, A Harmony of the Gospels; Altar Workers Training Class; Ministry and Membership Class; Old Testament Overview; The Pastor’s Heart; The Epistle to the Ephesians and Faiths Foundation.

Saturday February 18th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. A continuation of our Outreach to Downey and surrounding communities. We are hosting a Christian Concert featuring various artists and genres of music. The Eddie Reynelds Band and Redeemed performing Contemporary Christian Music, The SOG Crew and Joshua performing Christian Rap, Darnell Banks performing R&B with many other artists slated to perform, also, the Basketball Tournament Awards Presentation, A Gospel Message and an opportunity to make a life changing decision for Jesus Christ.

Saturday February 18th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. This is a community Outreach to the city of Downey and the surrounding communities. We will be having many different events going on throughout the day, including : 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Sumo (suit) Wrestling Matches, Martial Arts Demonstrations, Booths selling Christian Music and Apparel, BBQ’d Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Jumper, Puppet Shows, Kid’s Photos with Batman and Games. Free Admission & Free BBQ – “The Price Has Already Been Paid!!”

Have you had a rough week? Is life dragging you down? Do you feel like you need some pampering? Then come join us on Thursday evening February 16th at 7:30 pm. This event is a spiritual spa for all ladies. There will be various pampering stations set up for your relaxing pleasure, like hand massages, foot baths and face scrubs. And that’s not all; there will be plenty of time to get before the Lord in prayer to receive the peace of mind only He can give. Come enjoy “a spot of tea”, have an opportunity to receive a gift and much, much more. Ladies, we will not be having our usual potluck dinner but light refreshments will be available. Childcare will be provided – So, hope to see you there!!!

Car Wash – Outreach Fundraiser

Car Wash Saturday February 11th, 2012 8 AM – 1 PM at Desert Reign Church. This fundraiser is to raise money for our “No Greater Love” Outreach to be held on Sat. Feb.18th. Pre-sale tickets are available to buy and sell, so come out and be apart of this fun and important event. You can sell tickets, wash cars, have your own car/cars washed or all three.
