Greetings in the name of the Lord! God is doing great things and I am so excited to be a part of the ministry team at Desert Reign Assembly of God. My name is Brenda Iacovelli and I am the Prayer Pastor at Desert Reign.

I am a third generation “preacher’s kid.” My first introduction to prayer was through my mother and my two great grandmothers. They were prayer warriors. I remember waking up as a child in the middle of the night to the sounds of my mother praying for her husband and children. To hear my name called out before God would bring such a sense of peace. Over the years I have reaped the rewards of my mother’s prayers.

I am now a mother and in the early morning hours I pray over my husband and children. My biggest prayer is to see the heritage of prayer passed on to my children. Psalm 61:5 says, “For you have heard my vows, O God; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.” It is never too late for a heritage. You can begin that heritage right now in your own family.

Prayer Ministry Mission Statement

• Provide continuous prayer coverage for our pastor, leadership, church body and ministries.
• Teach others to pray through example, mentoring, and teaching so that the desire to pray turns into a lifestyle of prayer.
• Through prayer and deliverance see people set free and made whole so that they are able to take their place in ministry in the mighty army of God.
